Great News!! Thunder Raceway in Show Low, Az has offered to host a two day show on July 4th-5th along with 2 day modified summer nationals . Colorado racers are more than welcome, free camping at the track, additional information on rules will be up shortly.
Already on planning to race... Here's your new 4th of July destination!!

While it's great to see a 1st place payout of $800, it is more appealing to a racer to see a minimum payout for making the main. $100 would be awesome, but it would require some additional sponsor $$$. This would attract many more racers who know they can work their way into the main, but realize they may not have a race winning car. Even more awesome would be to have the payouts in cash so those of us from out of town can spend it locally and support the economy in Alamosa

Well here is the way the format that will be run. Of course depending on car count. hot laps 4-5 laps heats 8-10 laps top 2 to A b main transfer 10 cars last chance qualifier 2-4 transfer A main friday top 8 transfer to a main saturday All of this depends on car count but Saturday will be ran similarly to friday. There will be plenty of racing for those that are travelin. Also there will be some door prizes given for example longest pull will be one. $800 to win for now but have another...

Yeah that track was miserable. The Factory stocks looked like low riders bouncing up and down. Lots of broken parts on cars.

You bet Rat, I will be in touch when the time gets closer. I found the oil down problem, If you ever have to replace your oil drain plug be sure to use an aluminum washer and not a steel washer like the kawasaki shop sold me last week. I haven't checked if i hurt the moter yet but will check it tommorow. Charles car shered off the motor mount bolt when he bottomed out hard in turn one. I don't think we will go back there until we here some good reports on the racing surface!!!

7559 feet (2304 meters) Which ever you prefer. That'd be great to have you there. Pass the word on to your friends down there and convince them to make the trip. It is the highest altitude track in the nation. Shaped like a paperclip. Pat Henessey said it was real similar to Canyon Raceway. So if ya want a suggestion on gears he'd probably be the guy to talk to. He came and raced with us last year. Hope this helps

It is $800 to win right know and it may go up depending on sponsership!!!! So plan know, they also have probably the best fireworks show in Colorado, u wont be disapointed...

Yes we will be on street tires for it. Dates are yet to be announced but I will put them on there when we get them.

As of now it will be a two day show on July 4-5. Street tires only following the RMDCA rules. check them out at RMDCRA.ORG

Hope all can make time in their schedule. Entry fee and payout are yet to be decided. There will be plenty of racing for those that make the trek. As soon as more details are available I'll post them. Any specific questions my email is
