Well..I know Yuku was doing system maintenance the past 2 nights....and last week, my other board was having some issues with unscheduled downtime to to a server problem, so I'm going to guess that the ads showing was a bug that popped up that was cleared with the system maintenance they just did.

If anyone sees the ads again, please post the exact dates and time (please also post your time zone), so we can report it to the Yuku team and they can investigate.

Let's hope they don't return.
If they do, I will do whatever it takes to get rid of them.
I have never run a popup cheap type board and I never will as long as we have the support of the great DCR sponsors. The DCR sponsors make this all possible.

They were there but are gone!! thankfully!!
Big adds on the sides off people postings for allsorts of crap. Was i the only one that noticed?

Ron - I don't know if 44Dwarf is referring to ads on DCR or on his/others profiles or whatnot. If DCR has "gold" status, then all pages on DCR should be ad free. Unless an individual pays for Yuku Supporter ($12 a year), they will see ads on all non-Gold boards and ALL profiles. IE - I'm a supporter, so I don't see ever ads on anything - honestly, I've never even SEEN what they look like (although I've heard they're pretty hideous). I haven't done it...

I don't see any ads. I tried logging out and viewing as an unregistered user...still no ads. Hopefully it was a YUKU bug.
We should have about 700,000 page views ad free thanks to Jeff Barker. DCR will pay after that.

Are you still seeing these ads? Is anyone else seeing these ads?

Christina...am I doing something wrong?

Whats up with all the adds? "Push my love button" crap today darn and i thought i liked the new softwear but not if we have to deal with space hogging adds.

Not that I know of at this point in time...however, I do know that the Chat function is not totally finished yet, since the Yuku people were concentrating on getting the message board part working first.
