Here are my 2 questions

1) From Stator there is a plug with 3 yellow wires 1 red & 1 black. Obviously the black goes to ground and I am I correct that the red needs to go to the
the positive terminal on a master switch or directly to the battery for charging purposes.

2) There are 2 orange wires and 1 red wire that come from the main harness that are labled switched hot. Could someone give me any info on what these wires
power. ECU would be obvious for one of the wires but what about...

whoever made the harness the way they did, labelled the wires power for a reason. so they will most likely need to be powered. Later on i realized that one
of the orange wires might even be a dedicated power line for antitheft. So I would do as your builder advised.

the generator/rectifier can go direct to the battery independantly of the cars switched system..

Jeff
Does the stator need to power anything in the harness. It was shipped to me as a seperate portion of the harness so can I connect it to a post on the master
kill stwitch.

I am not running the guage cluster and I have a seperate switch for the fuel pump so I should isolate the positive wire for the ecu and ignore the rest???

Thanks for the help

the stator plug goes into the harness at one end, and the rectifier at the other. from the rectifier, the black goes to ground, the red to the battery for
charging.

the three wires for power. the fuel system, the guage cluster, and the ignition power(and ECU). Someone was either too lazy too make them into one wire, or
didnt know how to make the fuel system turn itself on and is backfeeding the entire harness.

you should only need an orange with a white stripe, a red...
