I'm looking into a 2007 ZX10R, what is the ideal fuel pressure and where is the best place to buy a fuel pump and regulator for this engine.

I don't know about the zx 10 but in our 06 GSXR's we use the pump from the bike right in the fuel cell and place a large filter right close to the
engine . works excellent on the GSXR. no regulator to mess with . It's a very clean installation. Check with Pro race cars west.I believe they utilize zx

The stock ZX10 pump or GSXR pump work well in the tank (both have same pressure and mount holes). The e2000 pumps require a pressure regulator with a return to work properly. Fuel pressure should be set around 43#. You can richen the engine by increasing the fuel pressure. Do a plug reading if you increase pressure very much. |
