I cant believe I am actually going to add to this post but I couldnt continue to read it with out adding my two cents. This kid is 14 years old and for what
ever crazy reason he wants to race with a whole bunch of stuffed racing suits. Yes his posts go on and they are almost all about the same thing but shall I say
it again he is 14 years old. I have been dirt racing with my family for all of my 43 years and why I got away from it 10 or so years ago was exactly what I
read on so many of these posts. You are actually mocking a 14 yr old about his spelling and grammar. I will recommend we all take a serious look in the mirror
as I have read so many times on this great website " we are loosing car counts", "we dont make enough", "the prices are getting
stupid", and so on. We all do not have the same reasons for racing but when you come to this site about racing and there is someone who whether you or I
think that he is right or wrong wants to race and loves this class of car and a whole lot of grown men mock him and correct him. I hope that I never get to
that stage that I am so big in racing that I cannot try to lend a hand or give someone a chance to try it, as anyone who knows me in Racing I will let you have
anything in my trailer and if you need a car for a points race and I can help the ride is yours no questions asked simple response "jump in" There
have been post through out this young man venture on DCR that have been encouraging for him and I hope the ones that continue to be negative dont have any
young sons that they will be guiding along the way. I can only recommend to Thiess or Letsrace, (many others I know have suggested this), go buy a seasons pass
at the track and find a crew that will let you help week in and out learning and then maybe the chance to Hot Lap the car might come your way. Even though I
have been in it my whole life I didnt own or drive my first real car til I was 39 yrs old so be patient and maybe one day you can pass some of these guys on
the track and just smile and remember!!! Good Luck but try to remember nothing is ever given to you for free! t1 modlite Todd

Todd, one of the reasons that so many on here are fed up with the kid is that he jerks people around so much;ex: I posted a car on here a while back,had
some interest,sent pics ans e-mails,thats expected. I sent pics I think 3 times to him,answered all his questions,even made a deal to help with delivery,after
all this,(thinking the car was sold) I called him on the phone to finalize the deal and set up a meet for delivery... He then told me on the phone that his
"wife" found out about it,and he had to talk her into letting him buy it......people spend a lot of time to answer ??'s and e-mail pics,then get
some BS story from him. I agree in helping kids get interested in our sport(I've let a few others race some of my cars many times),but if you check out
some of the other sites he's been on,you'll find he does the same thing there... why else does he keep changing his screen names?????? Bill #52

Honestly guys give the kid a break. Instead of sending him pictures maybe ask for a phone number to call his dad up and make a deal.
If someone calls his dad and his dad says there's no possible way this is happenning then everyone will know that he's not getting in a car this year. Sounds to me though he's been begging for a while and just wants a ride. Theiss I will give you this advice. do some more reading rather then posting. Find out all you can about set ups, chassis, parts etc. before jumping in one. And if you want to convince your mom and dad to get you one just come up with something like i want to spend more time with you dad and do things together. Dads like that stuff. Make it a family deal instead of you just wanting to go race. |

I think t1modlite and keller45 should step up, put their money where there mouths are and give this kid a break. Why don't you let him hotlap your cars?

Keller45 leaves the whole way accross the country so that would be pretty hard to hot lap his car. T1mod-lite sounds like a guy off of microracing.com That guy
has 3 270 micros 2 600 micros and 1 125. But hes nothing like keller45 or T1mod-lite. Kelly45 could you hook me up with a deal like you had a couple months
ago?

The kid is 14. He is immature. So was I and so are many people who were 14 years old. Clearly this battle is going both ways and its not about who is right
and wrong. But honestly.. if the kid is being ignorant, hes 14. Why is there grown adults arguing with him? Everyone has dreams and everyone has hopes as
this kid does. Maybe he is not ready. Maybe he is. How many people have seen him race to make that determination? It seems rather pointless for people to
get on and continue arguing with a 14 year old. That's just as immature and stupid as the 14 year old may be acting because your trying to prove yourself
right to a 14 year old kid?! If the kid wants to race a mod lite, let him dream. If he was messing with someone who was trying to sell a car let that be
handled for what it is personally with that person. The kid wants to race a car and should be allowed to hope and try to pursue that dream. Those who were
young and in some cases 14 years old at one time of them starting in these cars or racing in general should stop and try to remember that. If you cant
understand that then at least see that your arguing with a 14 year old..

was talking to his dad,Duh. see how many screen names he's had to come up with just to be able to continue to post on here,not to mention the other

Dont get the idea I support you or the stupid things you have done on this site (and most likely others) thesis93. I just think if you can stop posting on a
message board every 30 seconds and use your time like someone previously said to study car setups and be prepared for the opportunity, there is nothing wrong
with you wanting to race. But irritating the general population that you will race with is not a good idea.

If LetsRace93 was banned it wasn't by the DCR board. Actually my admin board doesn't show that name as banned at all. You can draw your own conclusion to that info.

your situation, so come on over to our car when you get to the track, itll be the orange 15.

Hey Bud, Karter25 good for you and for the rest I dont live or race near Mercer and as I stated he needs to buy a yearly pass and find a team to learn from and
yes if that was our team he would get a chance to hot lap our car as I am sure he could do as much damage as anyone out there. I do remember the people who are
in this to race, compete and oh ya still have fun. When we all get our chance to run NASCAR lol then maybe we wont be able to let some one near our car. Until
then I will always let anyone who is interested come to our pit and be involved especially a young lad wanting to be involved. I hope that will set a good
example for my 4 kids one day that even though some may be misguided in there delivery or there ways of approach, if you at least put forth an effort maybe
good things will come. As for Modlite 52 sorry if you got the run around from this kid if in fact is was him. I have been lucky to buy sell trade alot of stuff
from the fine racers on this site but the thing is I never let any deal happen until I have spoken to, email confirmation and finally a deposit. I have learned
so many people of these sites dont seem to want people to know that they might be looking or buying so they put minimal info on their reply's as so know
one will know. I only post phone # and email addresses and then its still for sale to I see the cash. But sorry you got the run around any how. Finally again
Theiss take the advice of several good people on this site that I have read, go to Mercer and open your eyes and close your lips and learn, Bud (Karter25) has
given you a great opportunity and especially another young man who has been down your road take him up on it or ask your parents there are a few cars on this
site turn key for around $3k but keep in mind no one is going to hand you a $20k ride without knowing you, watching you and most of all if you keep pushing the
envelope they will not want to help you. I hope you get to the track and learn and maybe if all goes well you will get to turn some laps. Good Luck to all this
