The ebay auction has a blank plate (no holes), and the filter is too small. Seriously suggest you buy a pre cut ITG base plate designed for your engine. They
are water jet cut to your bore size and spacing for a pefect fit. Most are tear drop shaped or perfectly round, and If you try to cut the blank plate yourself,
it wont fit right, there will be air leaks, and a big silicone mess. The auction also doesnt include the rubber boots needed that sell for an additional $40.

I'm actually only in need of the filter itself, I was just curious. Like I said, I don't know a whole lot about it so I appreciate the info. When I
saw it said "kit" I thought it included everything I would need. That is why I don't like buying off of ebay! I have a 2005 R1. Would the ebay
item work if I'm just replacing the filter itself? Once again, the info. is much appreciated!
