I too blew several engines on RP a few years ago.......it also ate up 3 of our sprint car engines. I am not a fan of RP at all. In Daytona in 2002 I saw
just about everyone that was running it blew up. I know the motorcycle roadracers now avoid it like the plague
P.S. You should be running 10/40.....engine oil runs considerably cooler in these bike engines at lighter weights

I like to stick to products that have been around motorcycles for awhile.....
Bel Ray Motul Maxima Silkoline Redline Torco Spectro But have seen good results with Amsoil Mobil1 Castrol Full synthetic No Jeremy sorry I wont be out Sat. Im racing Fri and working Sat so I wont make it Steve |

For the way we beat up these engines, the sythetics run cooler, but stay with the K&N or AMSoil filters. They are cotton gauze, not cardboard.

those of you that had problems with rp were you useing max cycle or a diferent type i just baught a case of rp just wondering if i should get something

LIKE I SAID I'VE USED NEO FOR 14 YEARS NO FAILURES. IT'S FULLY SYNTHETIC. WHEN I'VE TORN DOWN THE MOTORS FRESHEING UP THE BEARING ARE ALWAYS GOOD,
THE RINGS COULD BE REUSED BUT SINCE I'M THERE I REPLACE THEM VALVES AND GUIDES ARE STILL GOOD. SO I DON'T KNOW MORE I CAN SAY...IT WORKS.
