I am installing the radiator in the back of the car. How do you run lines to the back?

aluminum 1 inch pipe | ||

I run a CBR 1000 Honda and I ran a 1 inch aluminum pipe on both sides of the car under the pods to a stock zx12 radiator and stock fan. Used hose to connect
to the radiator and zip tied to the bars that hold the pods. I have had no cooling problems and with the temperatures cool like they are now I don't turn
the fan on for a heat race but I do for the feature.

This could be a question that applies to only our area , however I was wondering if the heat from the radiator could effect in anyway the way the fuel techs
after a main?. I have hear stories that the fuel can appear to be illegal because the heat from the radiator warms it up. Just curious .

HEAT / FUEL | ||

I run a mod lite and the radiator is above the rear deck and the fuel cell is to the rear and below the rear deck. the hoses are about 6 to 8 inches from
the fuel cell. I was an aviation fuels tech in the Navy and it would take 100 degrees to start effecting the fuel and it was jp4 and jp5. We had to keep the
tanks circulated and the water drained off. The fuel had to sit still and be at a high enough heat to separate the fuel and water and it would increase the
flash point but in our cars the fuel is stired enough and even a 5 gallon tank the water that would fall out after a week of sitting still in 100 degrees would
not bother the way a car would run. Ounce you move the car the water gets mixed with the fuel and it may sputter.

I get the pipe at Lowes or Home depot and the hose is a 1 inch automitive radiator hose from napa, autozone. A few guys in our club are running an all aluminum
radiator that you can get from e bay and it is a honda aluminum race radiator get the radiator that is older than 2000 and make sure the radiator openings are
1 inch. These radiators are 110.00 or less delivered great price and they work great. Make sure you have a good radiator cap.

dr I don't use a rear radiator. I was just curious for future reference. Listen to Jeff is really does know his stuff. the way he explains the rear set up
is exactly how we do our front set up, just not as long. with the exception of the radiator . We use a fluidyne because we like to throw away money here LOL
