I need some help from my fellow big guys. I just bought a 1997 Pro Chassis Dwarf Car. It's got a 34 Ford Sedan body. I go about 280 and stand
5'10" so I'm no lightweight. I can barely squeeze into the car, and I'm concerned if I have to get out quick it ain't happening. Also if
they sold tickets to see me work my way into the car they would make a mint. So I'm looking for suggestions to make acess to the car easier. I thought
about putting a hatch in the roof like the mod lite guys have, but there is a heavy X pattern in the roll cage that I would rather not disturb to preserve the
integrity of the roll cage.
I was wondering if reversing the suicide doors might make it easier to get in rather than the way the doors are set up now. That way I could angle into the car with my legs forward of everything, and then come through the door with my upper body.
Any help from my large brethen would be greatly (no pun intended) appreciated.
