What is the max water temperature with a 1996 ZX11? Do you run a fan all the time or just when it gets above a temp?

Not sure about the ZX but on the GSXR we only run the fan on cautions and in the pits but thats only if the TEMP is over 180-200.
Never have to run the fan while racing but we do run "GOOD" racing rads. Hope this helps. Jeff RAFFURTY MOTORSPORTS |

If your radiator is in front of the engine you may need to run the fan the entire race. When I had a zx 11 it would run at 200 to 210 with the fan on. I'm
now running a zx 10r with the radiator in the back of the car I don't run the fan unless we run a lot of cautions never goes over 180.

If you want the ZX11 to live more than a season, never let it get over 200 degrees. If you can keep it between 180 and 190, it'll last you a while.
