got an 08 gsxr 1000. is it ok to run the stock oil cooler or should i get something different?

As long as it gets fresh air you will have no problem running stock oil cooler.

My 2 cents is the bigger oil cooler you have, the happier you keep your engine. Critical on the first versions ('01-'02), probably still helpful.

MY OPINION IS THAT YOU NEVER HAVE TOOMUCH OF AN AIR CLEANER OR OIL COOLER.
