Some of the cars are built to go both ways....no jokes there....my raptor will convert very easy.
If you are a skinny guy, Max has a fast truck for sale and will probably make you a good deal or there was a pro truck from down south for sale, Spanky's I believe. Don't know how to get in touch with him but I am sure someone on here will and correct me if it is not for sale.

Springs, shocks, move the ballast around.
If the radiator is back right, you might want to move it up front. |

To covert a coupe to a truck would take alot of roll cage fabrication to keep the integrity to what it should be, you would be better off buying a truck if
that is what you really wanted.
As far as chassis, any can win if setup right and driven. If you can't fabricate your own stuff, stick with a pro chassis or something that utilizes a pro suspension so you can buy the parts pre-made ( only saying pro because you want a truck ). Many of the other manufacturers suspensions will bolt on a pro type set-up. |

Look around at what you see next week.
Raptor, Pro, and Jaxports have all done well. If you want an OWL (the Classic body style) there are a bunch to choose from, right here in Florida. Down the line, some arm twisting could get you in line for a new OWL Wolfecar or OWL Alcar. If Mods are your bag, there are some around locally, but not so many choices as you have for OWLs. |

Comon Flip, are you guy's down south starting a petting zoo or what? All of this talk about "OWLS" "WOLFCARS" and such? I've
been involved with this sport for more than 14 years and I don't mind telling you I get more confused every year!! ( no comments about my age)

We done some figures on the club one time the average age was 48 1/2 the average weight was 205 the average high was a little over 6 foot go figure call on
them dwarfs. Texas will build whatever you want at dwarf twister chassis one of the original builders before dwarf car Co. Arizona dwarf car Co. is probably
the longest running has produced more cars. The brats in the bullies don't know not that they're probably bad cars they just don't meet dwarf car
rules. Stan twister chassis

Easy, Jack!!! Phil's just having a little funnin. WolfeCars are from Jeff Wolfe. He bought the stuff from George Landis in south Florida to make the Pro
Classic chassis clips, etc. He is adding some ideas to the Pro chassis cars we (his dad and I) used on our car that was incorporated from Ted Kempkin. Jeffs
dad, Roger, grew up crewing supers and sprints with a guy named Gordon Johncock, crewed on several Indy teams in the 60's, and knows a bit about race cars.
Ted's dad was the builder and maintainer for Buzzy Ruttemann and his wins and Ted built GT1 SCCA cars. I also saw in the early 90's the first set of
Corvettes being prepared in his shop for the Daytona 24 Hours there and some LeMans cars. The AlCar is a nice panel truck that is also a conversion from a
Pro, just like Billy Gise car (a real nice mod-lite and proably the fastest car on pavement) is his mostly his own design and keeping the good ideas from the
original car builder. These guys are from the Lakeland area and a lot of good racers around there.
