i will be changing engines for the first tiime, will the wiring harness from my 04 work on an 06. also when you put a stock motor in will you have to put a
power commander in seeing that you are changing exhaust and the air box, and could run lean.

Only the 05/06 harness will work..........you can add a power commander or a TFI to add some fuel...It will run well stock..

In my opinion a Power Commander is only good if you dyno tune the car. Or have a proven Map from someone that has dynoed their car! And even then all
components should be the same.. Header,air filter,muffler Ect... My 06 is stock w/o PC and runs very well!

After installing and running quite a few different enigines, it seems that as long as you install a muffler with a reasonable backpressure you will be able to
run perfectly fine without a fuel adder. (TFI - PC3)
If you run an open exhaust or a megaphone, You will actually drop a lot of power and run lean if you dont run a fuel adder. Watch your engine temps and read the plugs after a run or two to see if its lean or not. JB |

The mounting bolts in the head were moved from 04 to 05. The spacing is different on the throttle bodies. Get the stock sprocket cover if you can, for the
clutch hook up.
