I have a GSXR 1100 that I recently took out of my car and replaced it with an ' 04 1000. This motor is complete and I would like to sell it. The problem I
am having is I don't know how to list it. How do I tell what year and make it is? I was told it was a GSXR but don't know. Any help would be great.

GSXR 1100 serial number should start with a prefix something like V710 or U707 etc.. Maybe it is not a GSXR.

If it is the same motor that was in it when you got it, than it is a GSXR1100, I believe the R code is a 1994.

Engine prefix R720 is used for 1993 thru1995 GSXR 750 The Z does not show in my book. Try checking with a dealer.

The v710 is 89-92 1127 oil cooled. The v703-706 is 86 -88 1052.
