Since race fuel is nearing 8$ a gallon,why cant you run premium unleaded that a stock gsxr was designed to run on. comments please

Ive been using premium pump gas in my stock gixxer. every now and then i might put racing fuel in, and big races possibly, but i dont really notice much of a
difference, mabe a couple hp. But in kansas half the year the engines dont play a big part when the track goes dry slick so why not run the cheap stuff.

Your engine will make the most power with premium grade pump gas. The only way it will make more power with race fuel is if you install a powercommander and
dynotune the fuel and ignition maps for whatever fuel you use.

Actually most of the cars in the West that have been on a dyno are running premium gas, even with the power commanders. Save some gas money for the tow rig
and buy premium, you will not loose any HP
