i have a few questions, i have a 2000 zx 12 that im trying to get tuned on my computer but i need a few things checked. how many teeth are on the crank sensor
wheel? (i counted 17 teeth with one missing). What is the sensor position =degrees BTDC? I also need the firing tooth on start up i think it is 5 teeth

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH? I DON'T HAVE THE ACTUAL PLATE IN FRIONT OF ME. BUT, MY FACTORY BOOK SHOWS 8 TEETH AND IT SAYS THAT THERE IS A TDC MARK
ON THE DISC THAT LINESUP WITH THE CASE "SPLIT LINE" AT THE TRANSMISSION SIDE OF THE CASES. OTHER THAN THAT I DON'T KNOW.

Just had one apart, there is a mark on the crank plate identified with a "T" that is #1 TDC, line it up with the case parting seam on the clutch side, You also have a sensor and plate of sorts on the exhaust cam. If you align the cams correctly with the crank plate on the T and the cam gear marks lined up with the top of the cylinder head, everything should be in order as far as the timing. Thansk Guy |

OK GIVEN THAT MUZZY ISN'T GOING RELEASE THEINFO. THAT THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANYONE THAT KNOW OR IS WILLING TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. I
WOULD GUESS THAT IT'S TIME TO GET THE "STOCK PARTS" AND GO WITH THEM. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE RUNNING ZX12'S BUT I PRETTY SURE
THAT MOST ARE RUNNING WITH THE FACTORY PARTS AND SOME WITH POWER COMMANDERS. AND THEY SEEM TO BE DOING THE JOB. THE CLUBS THAT I RUN WITH DO NOT ALLOW ANY
AFTER MARKET ITEMS OTHER THAN THE POWER COMMANDER SO... THERE ARE TIMES WHEN YOU JUST "SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE FOOT" AND YOU HAVE LIVE WITH THE DAMAGE.
