Looking to go to Florida July 4th weekend!!! Is there a race somewhere? We run southwest modlites Sealed stock engines on Mediums Tires can we
run that way ?

JJH, On my calendar, I have two races around the 4th, but we have nothing scheduled for the 4th. We are scheduled for Orlando on June 28th (very fast 3/
 and
Charlotte County July 12th (nice set of moguls that you can double coming out of 4!!). Charlotte is a lot of fun since we usually pit where you can watch the
races from your pit stall. I am guessing you are a dirty guy by your medium tire comment. We race asphalt, but you are more than welcome to come run with us.
We run the mod-lites and classics together, giving the classics a 75# weight advantage. The mod-lites need to weigh 1275 after the race, but unless someone has
added some monies, tech is typically not conducted. Since the cost of travel is so high, we have been splitting the purse evenly through the field so everyone
gets some cash for showing up. We basically run the TUSA motor rules. Give Roger Richmond (number posted on Results under Auburdale results) or Phil K
(president) a call to firm up the schedule. There has been some talk of going to Auburdale around those dates, too.

We would be delighted to see you. A reminder, we run on pavement. Your dirt tires could be a problem for you. There might be some of ours around you could use.

Only dirt track in the south Florida area (Lake City South) would be the new Ocala track. A few dwarf cars have practiced there, but no races are scheduled
that I know of for our class. Like Phil stated, we can get you a set of tires that would get you through a few races. Hope you can make the trip.

Not quite true about the dirt tracks in Florida, although no one runs dwarfs. East Bay runs Saturdays but has a full set of classes. I am not sure about
Volusia having a weekly schedule. I don't know if Putnam County is still running or the track in the swamp (sorry, can't remember the name of the
place). The nearest place for dirt racing I think is Georgia or south Alabama.
