ZX10/Autometer wiring???? |
Lead | |
|
Just put an 07 ZX10 in Uncle Bennies car. The tach is reading double it seems. The small brown wire in the back of the tach is cut, should it be put back
together?? I remember you cut it for some applications and not for others. Anyone running this combo, please post back.
Thanks, 5-0

There should be a orange wire if its not the out the back of tach it must be inside the cover. autometer tach's come set for 8 cyl
you cut the Brown wire into for 6 cyl but in your case for 4 cyl you cut the brown wire and the orange wire and tape each wire with electrical tape and wrap
with tape do not push them into the tach leave them stick out the back of Tach.
