Ya think so there Rat?? Thats pretty much what I was trying to say but didnt want to step on Sonny's toes. 10K will buy a real good roller but not much
else. The cost of sprintcars has been out of control for over 15 years and maybe longer. It is nothing to spend 100K a year for a good 1st class operation, and
thats not counting buying trailers, haulers etc etc. I can tell you this for fact. In 1984 I was involved with a good sprintcar team and we averaged spending
right at $1000 per week over a season, and we didnt tear up alot of stuff either. Heck figure atleast 2 rear tires a night at about $175 and $225 each. Thats
$400 just in tires for 1 race!!!!! The more I race my dwarf the more I love it. Last year I avg right around $15 per week in upkeep, and I had 4 wrecks. Now
that does not count my pit passes or gas for my truck to get to the races. Pretty cheap if you ask me.
