just changed motors from an old hurricane to an 06 cbr1000, he still wants to use his hand clutch so we used the same style linkage, the same angles and
lengths, but the clutch rod still wont move. can we use a hand clutch or do we have to go with a pedal assembly and a slave cylinder?

ours has a hand clutch and I think Fred Schneiders has one to I have a problem getting mine in to N but it works good besides that

It takes an extreme amount of pressure to get the clutch to disengage. I tried a hydraulic cylinder with a foot clutch with no luck. I ended up using the
stock Honda master and slave cylinders and using a hand clutch. I mounted the slave cylinder to a bar running across the firewall and made a connector that
fit the slave cylinder and slid over top of the existing push rod. I had to reinforce the bar as it would bend before disengaging clutch. Another racer I
know has similar setup. Good luck.

thanx, i run an after market slave cylinder on my 1100 and it works great. we were hoping to get the car ready to go this weekend but i dont know now. guess we
will just keep pluggin away. thanx guys if you know any body with a used suzuki 1100 header send them my way please.
