This race will have a supporting class of the Modlites/Dwarf cars a crowd favorite from last year. During both days the future stars of racing will be running there Quarter Midgets on the 1/20 mile dirt track built inside the big track MORE INFO ON THE MOD LITES TO FOLLOW !!!!!!!! Bring your coveralls and stocking hats, who knows with the KC weather. website is; www.twasthemidgets.com MOD-LITE PAYOUT Purse for both nights 1) 600 2) 400 3) 350 4) 300 5) 275 6) 250 7) 200 175 9) 150 10) 125 11-20) 100 over 40 cars money will be added to purse Entry Fee $75 pre entry late entry after December 1st $125 entry fee includes both days Practice December 17TH $30 does not include pitpass practice time will be 1 to 6pm there will be practice this year also there will be a race kickoff party at one of the bars in the Power and light distict starting at 8pm on Thursday 3day pit pass $100 2day $75 1day $40 Hot Laps for Modlites 4pm on Friday and Saturday RULES 2009 TUSA RULES with a couple of exceptions. 1. ALL cars must weight 1240# 2. MUST use track fuel !!! bring cars out or atleast low on fuel. It is not a money making deal, it is a low emission fuel for indoor racing. This is a safety measure for the drivers and the spectators. This is the same fuel they have been mandated to use at the chili-Bowl. It is made by Sunnoco, it is a top quality fuel.

NO trailers allowed inside, we will have a pit stall for each car just like last year. They are working on suppling golf carts to push the cars.(I will keep everyone posted on that). They are also changing the way cars enter and exit the track, this should help things run a little smoother. Jeff

BUT if this is true then where are they gonna put the trailers the midgets came in? Last year they were able to park their trailers inside and they pretty much took up that whole room.......gonna be intresting to find out how they set us all up this year.It's still gonna be fun guys ..........

The golf carts would still be nice to help push the cars if you are at the far end of the building. Jeff

I ran mediums on RF, LF, and LR, and a soft on the RR. They used a lot of lime in the clay to keep it grippy. A lot of cars were going through the turns on the right 2 wheels, because it was difficult to loosen the cars up.

You can loosen it more if you know what shocks to use on which corner. I had no trouble turning car just needed to have had at least one practice run to choose right gearing.

I had 1 inch stagger up front and 3.5 across the rear. I also set the car to about 49% CW. This track is tight in the turns and you have to get it around the curves quick and tight. You can run your left front up on the inside burm too. That helps to turn it. I ran my left front on it the whole race for the most part. As far as shocks and springs....think looser vs tighter
