New Update 2010 TUSA Winternationals @ East Bay |
Lead | |
|
The 2010 TUSA Winternationals East Bay Raceway Park schedule is posted on www.t-usa.org. We will have the list of
qualified drivers soon as we are waiting for all the champions and second place for each region. If you have any questions you can call Walt at 302-242-1466
or 302-682-4868. We've gone over some of the things for this years race and the winner Saturday will receive $1000 to win with Friday and Saturday at
$500 to win. Last year TUSA paid out over $23,000 in purse at the East Bay Event. I have received the last of the names eligible for the All Star Race and
will have them posted by tomorrow. This year the Jr 600 Mod Lites are included in the races, so spread the word and get ready to get out of the nasty weather
in February and enjoy the Florida sunshine.

The Classics will not have their own division this year, they will run with the mod-lites.

Yes we are about 85% Dwarfs. There are a few mod lites but we are a pretty evenly matched field. I am sure if your gonna make the haul you wont be
dissappointed

I will call the track tomorrow about lodging for those travelling and staying. They have a race rate at LaQuinta in Deep Creek and also at the Super 8 on Jones
Loop. Billy G picked up a good rate at EconoLodge in Port Charlotte for the spring two nighter. If drivers and crews wish to camp at the track, that is also
available. They have the restrooms and all but no showers. Camping inside the track is also permitted if your hauler has sleeping space. More info to follow.

I think my brother and I will be attending this year if he gets home in time. At any rate, I will make the haul this year if all goes well.

are TUSA rules about the same as WSDCA rules

tb1545 is correct, don't confuse us with the other ones. TUSA will run Classic's, but they will run with the Mod Lites. Some ran last year and were
competitive, so please, we will welcome you, not shove you aside. As far as rules, TUSA rules are posted at www.t-usa.org
so you can compare. The 2010 rules (that have only a few changes) will be posted by December 1st.
Thanks Buck |

Jeromy did a great job this year from the first race all the way until the end of the season. I congratulate him on a great second year. Congrats to Charlie as
well as it was tough year for him.
Joseph, I hope to have it ready by then. We are welding it up right now and placing some brackets on it for different mounts. Looks like I will have to relocate the forward rear trailing arm brackets bc I think I will be too long in that department based on your Texana rules. So, I hope to have it done by Eastbay, and if not, it should be ready by the season opener. If you would like to see some pics of the chassis, I can email them to you, but will need your regular email address. At any rate the "Hawgzilla" Rhyno will be at Eastbay this year powered by it's Crutchfield GSXR 1000....and I know the competition there will be very very tough. |
